Personal Statement

I taught myself how to ski in eighth grade, my background was skateboarding and I was oblivious
to what mainstream skiing was. I perfected my balance on my skis, then I perfected my balance
in the air. Naturally, once I had that established I basically tried to skateboard on skis. So
a day of skiing consisted of cliff and air searching - all day. I'd usually get home at 9:00pm.

I had no idea that skiing was influenced by racing and Corporations. I still hang onto that
innocence.

I found that if I could be doing anything at any given moment, I would be skiing. This behavior
continues to this day, and it will continue until I am physically limited to maintain such a
lifestyle.

I am now 24 years of age and this behavior is beginning to pay off. This season I will be fortunate
enough to be in many unbelievable situations. I will be shooting with photographers Adam Clark, Brent
Benson, Brian Kretschmar, and Steve Lloyd - amongst others. I will be competing in the North American
Freeskiing Tour. Even without any of this payoff - I ride everyday with my best friends and truly just
love being in the mountains.

Last season was way too much fun. Hope you enjoy my website and I'll leave you with this:

The Uncertainty Of The Mountains Demands Greater
Patience And Keener Perception Before It Discloses
Whatever Mystery First Drew You Towards It.
