Jeff Johnson from Yakima named to LTAA Committee
Portland, OR, August 21, 2006 - Jeff Johnson, automotive sales and marketing manager for Yakima, an innovator in racks for boats, bikes and winter sports equipment, has been named as the first Yakima employee to the Light Truck Accessory Alliance (LTAA) Select Committee. LTAA serves to encourage product quality as well as service and business practices benefiting manufacturers, suppliers, dealers and customers of the light-truck accessory industry.
"The LTAA is a powerful association serving a growing automotive category, important to Yakima's long term growth," said Jeff. "I look forward to working with my colleagues whose mission is to shape the future of the light-truck accessory industry."
Johnson started with Yakima 5 years ago as an account executive, responsible for growing and marketing to the automotive side of the business. His responsibilities further expanded to include warehouse distribution and cap and RV Channels.
Prior to being elected as a member of the LTAA, Johnson served on the LTAA Long Range Planning Committee, Development Task Force Sub-Committee, and was involved with SEMA activities/sponsorship programs.
