Cloudveil's 10th Anniversary Follows Record Sales Year
Jackson, WY, January 16, 2007 - Cloudveil, producer of technical apparel, launches into its 10th anniversary year reporting record revenue growth for 2006.
An 18 percent expansion in outdoor/ski specialty shops paired with an average order increase of 45 percent increased Cloudveil's 2006 revenue 87% over the previous calendar year. Cloudveil's powerful launch into the fly-fishing market added over 150 storefronts and more than doubled the company's spring/summer sales.
Brian Cousins, President/Co-Founder, explains, "Cloudveil sales exceeded our already optimistic expectations for 2006, and we are launching our most complete collection ever in 2007. We realized strong growth across all current product categories, and the successful spring launch of our fly-fishing line added revenue and points of distribution for our company."
He continues, "Despite our fair share of operations issues resulting from a new fulfillment facility, all key indicators and field reports illustrate strong demand for Cloudveil. 2007 is all about focus on operational excellence and customer service in order to support our specialty retailers and the growing market demand."
To celebrate the milestone 10th anniversary, Cloudveil is publishing a historic brand book and will be offering an anniversary edition of the Serendipity Jacket, the company's original jacket. The company will debut its expanded Fall 2007 line at SIA, OR, and ISPO Markets.
