Adventure Medical Professional Guide II Kit
Carry the the Adventure Medical Professional Guide II kit on group backpacking trips, ice climbing trips, or when mountain biking or bouldering with a group of friends. Originally designed for professional mountain guides, the Professional Guide II Kit will handle almost any medical emergency in the backcountry. If a member of you're group is injured, clean the wound with the included irrigation syringe, then bandage it with the Professional Guide II Kit's selection of dressings. Use the included SAM splint to immobilize the injury while you walk them out. For illnesses or stings, the Professional Guide Kit includes anti-histamine, Sting and Itch Relief Wipes, several over-the-counter pain relievers, Diotame (the stuff in Pepto-Bismol), and oral rehydration salts. The Professional Guide II Kit also includes a Comprehensive Guide to Wilderness and Travel Medicine for reference, and two patient assessment forms handy for tracking vital signs and providing info to doctors or EMTs once you evacuate your partner out of the backcountry.
