Made from Gore-Tex PacLite, the Swift weighs in at under a pound and packs down small. Don't think it's all about weight though. Paclite is also one of the most breathable waterproof laminates around, so even though it's raining cats, dogs, and occasionally moose outside, you won't drown in sweat or water during a hard climb. Micro Tape construction cuts out weight and bulk, and laminated details remove stitching for a similar effect.
