They've been stolen once, lost once, and broken twice (not due to defective manufacturing), but no matter what fate they meet, I will always be sure to own a pair of Smith Salsas. I first bought them because I finally needed a pair of quality sunglasses in amongst my heap of $5 pairs with bent frames and scratched lenses. I wanted something versatile but not too sporty because I think that sunglasses should always be stylish. I didn't think Smith made anything like that until I laid my eyes on the Salsas for the first time. They are both modern and classic all in one. Plus, they don't just look great (especially in black); they're well made, too. The glass lenses never get scratched, even when they spend more time stuffed in a coat pocket with keys and coins and whatever else is packed in there than in their case. On top of that, the Salsas fit my head perfectly. Although the snug fit does cause fogging while you're jogging, they are completely suitable for all other circumstances under the sun. You can wear them with hiking boots or a string bikini and they'll help you fit in with any crowd. The Salsas are just as adaptable as Smith is understanding. Buy them once and they'll be yours for life.
