The Completely Biased Review...

Just when I thought that TGR couldn't go any bigger, they've come out with their best yet.
Todd Jones and Dirk Collins have put together one of the most mind-blowing ski films of all time. Veteran cinematographer Vance Shaw shows why he's one of the
greatest, capturing skiers Kreitler, Nobis and Pfiefer, to name a few, annihilating Alaskan slopes at blistering speeds and making Nobis' head appear bigger
than ever. It fills your whole screen. As for the rest of the skiers, Will Burks demonstrates his world-class skill in Europe. I like seeing new faces like
'01 rookie sensation Tanner Hall and up-and-coming star Chris "Da Cat" Collins, who throws on a helmet cam to give us beaters his perspective over huge gaps,
landing like a cat every time. You'll love the Micah Black segment; this guy's a legend. If you didn't know any better you'd think Bon Jovi wrote "Wanted
Dead or Alive" about him. The film reaches a high point when Johan Olofsson and Jeremy Jones, the best big mountain snowboarders on the planet, ride the
wildest, scariest steeps in Alaska and make it look easy. You won't believe your eyes. I have one gripe about the film: Too much athlete talk and not
enough calculated lawn darts from Rob Holmes. Also, omitting skier heavyweights Dave McReynolds and Rick Wroblewski is like leaving Shaq and Kobe off
the all-star team. What were they thinking? This is a Big time movie - A+, a must-have in any skier's collection.
