Big... Huge... Jaw-Dropping...
These words hardly do justice to the size of the waves in the Billabong Odyssey. This movie documents an unparalleled quest to surf the largest waves on the planet. Right out of the gate, the viewer is blown away with one of the most astonishing opening sequences in the history of extreme-sports filmmaking. And it only gets bigger and better from there, climaxing with a showdown at "Jaws" between Carlos Burle and Mike Parsons. Other footage, mostly shot from helicopters, is taken at Maverick's at Santa Cruz, California; Cortes Bank off the Pacific Coast; "Cyclops" in Australia; Mundaka, Spain; and of course the "Jaws" reef on the coast of Maui, Hawaii.
You have to see it to believe it.
