Coalatree was launching a Kickstarter campaign to raise money and awareness for their new Evolution Coffee Grounds Hoodie. A hooded sweatshirt made entirely of recycled plastic and, wait for it, coffee grounds! Coalatree has had a lot of success in the past with Kickstarter to help launch new products, and this time they wanted to work with a couple influencers to help propel the campaign.
Given the nature of the initiative, they had limited influencer resources and very specific criteria in mind.
Working closely with Coalatree, our team effectively identified their needs and goals and developed and executed an Awareness campaign that targeted two influencers who were passionate about the outdoors, sustainability, and who had high engagement rates on Instagram. The influencers were able to capture the essence of the idea and product and publish engaging content that resonated with their audience.
