Bottom Line

Field Notes

Bounce energy balls I’m not sure how I could have missed these tasty treats in my search for trail food.  I first became aware of Bounce Energy Balls during a #WeGetOutside Twitter chat that I was participating in.  I followed up with them about some samples to try (they sent me a boxful) and I’ve been in love with them ever since. Here are the current flavours available:
  • Almond Protein Hit
  • Cacao Mint Protein Bomb
  • Coco Berry Vitality Burst
  • Coconut and Macadamia Protein Bliss
  • Peanut Protein Blast
  • Spirulina Ginseng Kick
  • Apple Cinnamon Protein Punch
I have tried every one, and to be honest, there is not a flavor that I don’t like.  Other trail foods that I’ve tried, might have one or two flavours that I like, but Bounce has hit a home run with all of their balls.  In addition to the great taster, there is no pasty after effect in your mouth and the need for water, as is the case with other trail bars. The balls range in calories from 160-210, 4-14 grams of protein and have 2-4 grams of fiber. For those that might have some dietary restrictions, some are also Gluten and dairy free, and there are no artificial products or flavours used.  In addition all of their products are GM (Genetically Modified) Free.  The balls are densely packed, so you get the full benefits previously listed in a small package. The company was founded in 2004, down under in Australia, and have proven that you can provide healthy, nutritious foods with clean natural products.  D yourself a flavor and try these excellent energy balls.
